We visited Meerufenfushi Xmas and New Year 2007/2008 (twice). I disagree about the comment made by Tim about the food, I rate it as excellent. It was all freshly prepared and beautifully presented and a variety, so I do rate the food excellent in our opinion. You can go into the tour operators website like Thomsons and they have a truth guide about Meeru, and its rated by the guests so its worth looking up! We ate in the Maalan restaurant in the North of the Island, they do have a restaurant in the South also called the Farrivalhu, that is the same standard.
